An ex-Giuliani staffer told Politico that Fani Willis will be a "superstar" if she convicts Trump. Giuliani during an appearance on Newsmax earlier this week firmly rejected Willis' use of RICO statutes in the Georgia case. Since November 2020, Trump has cast doubt on now-President Joe Biden's 2020 victory in Georgia, despite no evidence of voting irregularities and vote counts affirming the final results. After decades of GOP dominance on the presidential level, Georgia backed Biden by roughly 12,000 votes out of 5 million ballots cast. Shortly after the 2020 election, Trump pushed Gov.

Rudy Giuliani should be disbarred, a DC legal ethics panel says. The Washington DC Board on Professional Responsibility slammed his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Ted Goodman, a spokesperson for Giuliani, attacked the DC Bar Association in response to the board's recommendation. "The decision-makers at the DC Bar Association are nothing more than an arm of the permanent regime in Washington," Goodman said. "His hyperbolic claims of election fraud and the core thesis of the Pennsylvania litigation were utterly false, and recklessly so," the board wrote.

Special Counsel Jack Smith is investigating a December 2020 meeting at the Trump White House, per CNN. At the meeting, participants, including Sidney Powell, discussed a plan to seize voting machines. Of particular interest to Smith is a December 18, 2020 meeting at the White House where Trump was joined by attorney Sidney Powell, who was falsely claiming that electronic voting machines were hacked by foreign adversaries, sources told CNN. Flynn, prior to the meeting, had for weeks been pushing the idea of seizing voting machines, arguing that Trump could unilaterally demand it be done. O'Brien told prosecutors that he "had made clear there was no evidence of foreign interference affecting voting machines," according to the outlet.
The White House Correspondents' Association doesn't police member conduct, a former board member said. A number of professional organizations told Insider that Fox News fell well short of the standards expected in the profession. "Journalism receives significant protections from the First Amendment and with those protections come profound responsibilities," McCarran told Insider. Evidence made public in Dominion's lawsuit shows how Fox employees — beyond just hosts of opinion shows — had priorities other than telling their viewers the truth. "There are left-wing publications, right-wing publications, there are government-owned publications — there's Voice of America, foreign news organizations," the former board member said. "
Lawyers representing Trump keep getting sanctioned by courts. Many of Trump's lawyers, even if they are not sanctioned, end up needing lawyers of their own to ward off the worst consequences. Since the message was sent to a switchboard line at the White House, it was undeliverable. Andrew Giuliani told NBC News that he last communicated with SoRelle on November 20, 2020. "Until you mentioned her, until I looked it up, it didn't really ring a bell," Giuliani told the news organization.
